The Medieval Party is coming on May 8 and will go through May 17. They posted a sneak peek on the CP blog. Here is what it looks like. It’s like the top of a bookcase or something.
Club Penguin also announced the winning background image. They gave three choices and asked everyone to vote in their blog. Choice number 3 was the winner. It looks like a dungeon.
The Club Penguin Easter Egg Hunt starts soon! I’m so excited!
The new Club Penguin clothing catalog was supposed to be available today and maybe it will come out soon but it’s not here yet! The Gift Shop is crowded with disappointed penguins. I’m pretty upset because I was looking forward to seeing the new clothes but I guess we will all have to wait a bit longer.
Hey the Club Penguin Play Awards are here. The outside of the stage is really fancy with a red carpet and velvet ropes and everything. Inside there is a stage with a podium and a special video screen showing the nominees. There is also a backstage area with a free member item that is your own penguin award! The stage and the backstage are only for members right now. Anyone can vote for their favorite play at the voting booth.
The Club Penguin St. Patrick’s Day Party is going on this weekend. A lot of the island is decorated in green and there is a new pin at the end of the rainbow on the ski hill. there are new free items for members (accordion) and non-members (shamrock hat). You can get the shamrock hat in the coffee shop and the accordion is in the leprechaun’s house in the forest but you have to be a member to get it.
Oh and there is something going on at the stage it is under construction for the big Penguin Awards this month.

The puffle party just started and it is awesome. I don’t know where to begin except that you should stop at the Cove immediately and get the free puffle bandana.
A lot of places in Club Penguin have special puffle decorations and there are a lot of fun secrets. I think my favorite is the puffle portrait painting inside the lighthouse. When you step on the little platform in the back the yellow penguin will paint your portrait!
Oh and Rockhopper is coming! Go to the lighthouse beacon and check out the telescope. Looks like he’ll be here soon.
OK this is cool. So there is going to be a puffle party on February 20. The blog at Club Penguin talks about it and it sounds totally fun. There aren’t many details but they say that starting on February 13 your puffles will start playing more with any puffle furniture that you put down in your igloos. Sounds totally fun! Yay for puffles!
BTW, my favorite puffle is the red one. I don’t know why I just like red puffles the best. Black puffles are pretty cool too.

The new club penguin taco pin is at the snow forts. It is in the inside leg of the clock tower itself right below the time and day of the week. The taco has something to do with the upcoming Fiesta Party on Club Penguin.
The fiesta party will start on January 23 and it will be a big event for everyone!
There are a lot of mini-games that you can play in Club Penguin. Playing mini-games is how you get coins to buy stuff like clothing for your penguin and furniture for your igloo. Some of the mini-games don’t earn you any coins (like playing ice hockey at the rink). Some of the games, if played right, can earn coins for you quickly in Club Penguin.

The first issue of the Club Penguin Newspaper for 2009 is out. There is not much new but there will be a new clothing catalog tomorrow and a new pin, too! The clothing catalog will have a dance theme so expect to see a lot of penguins at the night club in their new dance gear.
There will also be a new superhero play coming on January 9.
