nullThe very first island in Poptropica was Early Poptropica Within it, the islands earliest residents ask you to help them unearth a trio of stolen things: a pig, a bucket, and a signal flag.

First Stop: Main Street

When you climb down from the blimp, you ‘ll find yourself on Main Street. Go inside the Pop Art Museum to see art from famous artists and speak to the artists themselves. Meet other players inside the two multi-player rooms: the Soda Pop Shop and the Arcade.

If you are itching to begin your explorations, you can first try jumping up the Water Tower. You ‘ll see a flag there, but you won’t be able to reach it. You ‘ll also see an open manhole. You can jump down now if you want, but you might want to wait until you get your Glow Stick. It’s spooky and dark inside that hole and some light will really help.

The Old Part of Town

Step to the right until you get to the end of the street and then proceed to the Early Poptorpica section. The characters here look like pilgrims, and the buildings look like primitive cabins. After you talk with each of the inhabitants, you ‘ll discover that three things have been stolen: a pig, a flag and a bucket for their well.

Remember that Glow Stick we mentioned? The Glow Stick is in the very upper-left corner of this room. Grab the Glow Stick and it will go into your backpack.

Back to the Main Street Area

Now that you have the Glow Stick, it’s time to explore that manhole. Go ahead and enter the manhle and then make your way to the very bottom. You might get knocked over by a spider, but that’s okay. Keep falling all the way to the very bottom. You ‘ll land just fine. Then jump over the green spider and proceed straight to find the prized porker. Contact the pig to include it in your backpack. You may be tempted to exit the manhole now, but there’s more to be found down there. Get past the green spider again and enter the tunnel on your left.

Because you have the glow stick, you ‘ll be able to navigate your way through the dark passages. When you see a rope, climb up. Keep climbing until you reach the Golden Egg. As you go, you ‘ll see a few clues written on the wall to let you know if you’re going the right way. When you find the Golden Egg, touch it to add it to your items.

After you get the Egg, travel upward to find an exit, and you ‘ll find yourself in front of Poptropica Towers.

Taking a Peek at the Towers

So now you have the Pig, but you still need the Bucket and the Flag. Because you are at Poptropica Towers, you should start exploring the city street lined with tall buildings. Get up onto to the ledge of the first building you see and climb up to the rooftop. Travel from building to building, bouncing off clotheslines to help you. When you reach the blue building, climb to the very top, which looks like a rooftop restaurant. Now go up the vine.

Up in the Clouds

Wow, you’re now very high up in the sky. Go right until you see a very large pair of purple feet. Click on them to talk to the giant. He will take your Golden Egg as payment to enter his vegetable garden. You’ll find the bucket among the enormous veggies.

Enter the Aircraft Graveyard

Keep moving right until you find the Aircraft Graveyard. You can’t use any of the airplanes right here, but if you look mindfully, you ‘ll find a Jet Pack. This is simply what you need to get to high places– like the top of the Water Tower, where the Signal Flag is waiting for you.

Return to Main Street any way you can. Next, equip the Jet Pack to fly to the top of the Water Tower. In order to fly, move your cursor until you see a green up-arrow. Hold your mouse button down to move up. Then move left or right. When you reach the top of the tower, click on the Flag to place it in your backpack.

Return to Early Poptropica

Now you’ve got the Pig, the Bucket, and the Flag. Return to Early Poptropica. (You can fly if you want to, but you’ll have to walk between Main Street and Early Poptropica.)

Talk to each one of the three settlers who were lacking items. When you do, the items are definitely taken from your Inventory and returned to their original owners. As soon as you return the Signal Flag, a vessel will make it to the pier. Speak to the individual on the ship, and he will reward you with the Island Medallion. Woo-hoo!
